BY AIR: The nearest airport is at Inverness, which is on the mainland about 100 miles from here. BY ROAD: The most convenient way to get to Skye is across the bridge (toll-free now!) from Kyle of Lochalsh to Kyleakin. Alternatively, you may catch the Caledonian MacBrayne seasonal car ferry, from Mallaig to Armadale (http://www.calmac.co.uk) on the small private ferry - also seasonal - from Glenelg to Kylerhea. We are only about 20 minutes' drive away from the Skye Bridge.
BY TRAIN: The nearest station is at Kyle of Lochalsh which is on the mainland nearby. Trains run to and from Inverness, where there are connections to other parts of the UK. It is now possible to look up train times and buy tickets online at
